What about other issues? I had a terrible experience and though I did not have a stroke (thank God), my neck has never been the same since. Scans revealed disc tearing and prolapse, which I did not have prior to manipulation. Point being- there are other problems and risks associated with neck manipulation that can cause significant problems and injury. Stroke is obviously at the extreme end, but there are less serious risks. Finally, two of the top neurosurgeons in the country told me that neck manipulations should never take place.
